?As Strategic Purchasing Engineer for the Innovation Center in Asia, you will be part of our Asian Hub within the Global Projects organization. We have the responsibility to design & manufacture fixtured nut-runner systems and other applications such as articulated arm and software solutions. Our customers are in China, Australia, Korea, Japan and South East Asia. You will be part of the Purchasing&Logistics department.

?You have the responsibility in this role to ensures reaching targets for Cost, Quality and Delivery Time of purchased parts for project, production and assembly sites in alignment with internal stakeholders.
?Establish and improve ACA Material Groups strategics in alignment with internal stakeholders to improve supplier base and competence.
?To perform material group management with focus on supplier searching, selection, qualification, evaluation, innovation and phase-out.
Major Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
?Conduct and develop new supplier approval & qualification with internal stakeholders
?Conduct parts & services qualification for production and NPI development
?Material group strategy build up include such as Analyze internal facts & figures; conduct market analysis and define strategy per material group like make-or-buy and outsourcing decisions.
?Cost Value Analysis to make transparent commercial terms and best total Cost of Ownership
?Owns overall supplier relationships and supplier development (in alignment with Supplier Quality&project purchasing), including supplier portfolio, Supplier competence analysis, Supplier classification, risk management, Supplier capability&capacity optimization and etc.,
?Implement annual supplier negotiation include plan&target(LDO&MDO)setup; prepare levers; negotiation strategy define/Simulate/execution
?Perform supplier audit include new suppliers audit and incumbent suppliers annual audit
?Appraise Quarter & Annual supplier Performance
?Contracts frame agreements, price conditions, price lists, logistic agreements, and etc.
?Lead and coordinate with engineering to perform design to cost activities to make continuous supplier base and cost optimization
?Take part to the standardization (parts/raw material) with engineerings and by means of challenging Engineering and reviewing with qualified suppliers to help design optimization
?Support local for global projects
?Support in supplier definition, sample release and ECN execution for NPI development

Education
Degree in Engineering background
Experience
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years Sourcing/Strategic purchasing experience and a proven track record, SQE experience is a plus.
Skilled negotiating and communication at all levels.
Experience of production process of mechanical related commodities
Experience of supplier relationship and quality management
Experience of working within an international matrix-organization and adapt easily to different cultures
Language
