Essential responsibilities and duties
The BG Design Quality Director has overall responsibility for the achievement of design quality deliverables. The main missions of the BG Design Quality Director are as follows:
o Represents the voice of FCE Design Quality globally.
o Demonstrates leadership in Design Quality standards and practices
o Provides governance and coaching to Divisions/Product Lines.
o Assures the compliance of design quality systems

o Leads and coaches the BG Design Quality function of the Divisions/Product Lines:
o develops and deploy design quality best practices
o ensure the coordination/animation of regional Design Quality organizations
o report the BG Design Quality status

o Coordinate the global design quality standards and expected levels
o ensure the design quality work package requirements to enable common working of the quality function in programs.
o ensure capitalization of experience from previous programs
o ensure that best practises are shared within all regions about Program Management System (PMS) deliverables, Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), product quality issues, lessons learned, issues with potential impacts on the customer, etc…

o Lead the global quality strategy regarding A-Spice, Functional Safety and Cybersecurity compliance.
o Leads strategy and procedural compliance
o Supports sites for 3rd party registration to ISO standards

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:
o Minimum education level: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably in electronics)
o Language: English Fluent
Experience:
o Minimum 10 years of proven experience in the Automotive industry. (Minimum 2 different positions, such as Design Quality Engineer, SW Engineer…).
o Minimum 5 years in Design Quality management position with complex program (high product diversity, several R&D centres and Manufacturing sites)

o SW FMEA (Software Failure Mode & Analysis),
o SOTIF (Safety Of The Intended Functionality),
o ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualification Board)
o VDA
o ASPICE HWE Hardware SWE Software MEE Mechanical
o DFMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
o MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis)
o Practitioner about Quality tools: Functional analysis, FMEA, Special Characteristics, reliability, problem solving, variability reduction, etc
o Familiar with Customer Development Process – APQP, VDA, etc
o Good knowledge about Faurecia Excellence System and Quality System Efficiency, for internal candidates, would be appreciated.
