?Understand OSI model and able to explain 7 layers in the OSI model.
?Familiar with L2 network protocols , such as LLDP, CDP, ARP, STP, VLAN, IEEE 802.11Q.
?Basic understanding with L3 network protocols, such as OSPF, EIGRP.
?Basic knowledge of how firewall works and able to explain how the traffic being filtered/inspected.
?Understand what’s the network segmentation and able to explain the methodology to achieve.
?IPAM & network subnetting

Skills & Experience
Cisco Catalyst switch IOS/IOS-XE configuration.
Cisco switch VLAN & SVI configuration.
Cisco switch trunk and port channel configuration .
Cisco switch static/dynamic routing protocol configuration.
Cisco SPAN/RSPAN configuration
Microsoft VISIO
Experience with Checkpoint firewall configuration will be a plus.
