Job Duties
? Identify solutions to gaps in the MicroVention Neuro product portfolio in China in partnership with MicroVention & Terumo China commercial team.
? Build network within MicroVention, within Terumo and with local Key Opinion Leaders, VCs, startups, incubators, and mature companies, in China, as part of assessing portfolio solutions.
? Partner closely with MicroVention cross functional teams to evaluate external opportunities, and present proposals to governing bodies for decision making
? Negotiate and finalize transactions (acquisitions, licensing agreements, distribution deals, equity investments, etc.) with external companies (e.g., Letters of Interest/Term Sheets, Final Agreements, etc.).
? Attend local investor conferences and medical meetings to further establish relationships with new companies.
? Partner with Neuro Marketing, Sales, R&D, Finance, Clinical, Manufacturing, Quality, Compliance, Legal and Regulatory to conduct due diligence and develop the business case including developing Valuation models for a “Go/No Go” decision as to whether to execute upon transactions.
? Travel up to 30%, mostly within China.

? Neurovascular medical device experience is desirable.
? Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and consistently meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications
• A minimum of three (3) years of investment banking experience (preferably in the Life Sciences or Medical Devices sector) or BD experience in a medical device or related industry.
• Must have negotiated transactions with local China entities in prior roles.
• Strong analytical skills including putting together deal models / financial analysis (e.g., DCF models) and proposing transaction options.
• Strong negotiating skills.
• Understanding of legal terms and transaction documents.
• Excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills including strong Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams and PowerPoint working knowledge and experience.
• Proficient in Chinese and English.
