The main missions of the role are to:
CuE Manager is in charge of the complete engineering of the product and process, in compliance with Quality, Cost, Timing, Performance and People objectives and within PMS (Faurecia Program Management system) requirements.
His/her scope of responsibilities
People management & development
? Manage the Product Development Leader team-members and functional teams (including product design engineers (PDE), development engineers (DE) and Tool&process tool engineers (T&EE)).
? Coach & follow-up his/her team-members to reach performance.
? Supports the competencies development of people & their career development.
Management scope & skills
? Lead team members to define the product and process to meet the compliance to requirements (acceptance of customer product specification including geometry convergence
? Manage Team technique delivery including program development timing, delivery milestone, development cost
? Be familiar with interior product as well as process, be familiar with the technique solution to lead team to solve the technique issues
Customer relations
? As the key person in front of the customer, CuE manager is primary Faurecia technical representative
? He/she supports program management at customer in order to achieve the profitability objective of the program
? Interface with customer as key contact for different OEMs.
Qualification:
The ideal candidate will have/be:
▪ Experience in Design & Development within an industrial environment, ideally in the automotive industry
▪ Knowledge and experience in Project Management process
▪ Strong team management and people development skills
▪ International mind set
▪ Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
