1、Identify credit, performance and fraud risk in the supply chain transaction pipeline with respect to both client and own exposure, communicating these risks effectively and transparently and finding effective controls or mitigants to manage these risks.
2、Take a proactive role in deal teams developing solutions with prospective clients, serving as a collaborative sounding board and trusted partner to the business, in the process identifying and mitigating risks early.
3、Continuously analyse portfolio performance and recommend strategies with both revenue and risk in consideration.
4、Implement risk management strategy within the venture’s risk management framework and establish effective processes to monitor these risks and identify emerging risks proactively so as to adjust management actions and maintain losses within acceptable thresholds.
5、Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across the venture, including understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and policies.
1、Ideally 6-8 years’ overall experience covering at least two of the following for no less than 2-3 years:
2、Credit approval with individual credit authority and/or credit analysis.
3、Experience in supply chain finance and its risk management.
4、 Experience in commodity trade finance and its risk management would be a plus.
5、Ability to navigate financial statements like the back of one’s hand.
6、A highly developed “risk radar” to pick up anomalous patterns from amidst a sea of information.
7、High comfort level with the uncertainty of an expanding start-up, with creative problem-solving skills.
8、Strong emotional intelligence and ability to collaborate in dynamic teams.
