Job Description
Sales Representative sells Environmental solutions to customers; successfully drive sales growth; nurture new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
? Responsible for selling Environmental products; Initiating, developing, implementing, monitoring, and executing a strategic plan to grow business and defined projects
? Plan and coordinate Sales region activities. Actively develop and target new business/sales opportunities within the marketplace
? Responsible for managing regional distributors and dealers
? Organize and support decentralized training events for customers and distributors
? Participate in internal and external events; conduct effective seminars and presentations
? Maintain knowledge of Environmental products
? Ensure customers are familiarized with products; Educate customers on new products and product improvements. Accurately articulate and present product features
? Effectively communicate and negotiate sales contract with customers
? Responsible for all aspects of territory management, including prospecting, establishing, and maintaining relationships, and closing deals with new and existing customers
? Work closely with Sales Manager for business planning and implementation
? Actively communicate customer problems, current prospects, and marketing events to management team
? Regular exchange of information with colleagues, as well as passing on information regarding products and the market situation
? Pipeline, FCST and sales orders data entry into NetSuite Sales system
? Manage and maintain a healthy funnel of opportunities, provide accurate forecasts, and successfully convert the funnel to revenue to meet territory sales quota
? Interpret and lead key financial results, i.e., revenue, volume, margins, and forecasting
? Demonstrate strong initiative and willingness to take ownership of results
• Bachelor’s degree in botany, ecology, environmental science, meteorology, forestry, geology, agronomy, hydrology, mechatronics, machinery, electronics, instrumentation, or chemistry; Master’s degree is preferred
• At least 3 years’ experience in scientific instrument sales
• Able to establish and maintain relationship at a high level within large strategic accounts
• Good written, verbal communication, presentation skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Good English communications in both oral and written
• Good data analysis and business planning skills, high energy, team player, and ability to work under pressure
• Self-motivated, open-minded, and detail-oriented, energetic with a results-focused approach to achieving daily goals/activities
